If Brown wins, it will be due to Scott Brown and Martha Coakley. Nobody else.

TAZ:

I'm a big fan of the old saying: <b>"Nothing succeeds like success."</b>

Till the Brown surge, RedState.com was prepared to just write off the Northeast as unreachable, and not bother trying to elect Republicans in Blue States anymore--especially after Hoffman lost to Owens in NY-23.

If nothing else, Brown is proving that conservatives don't have to write off the Northeast as unreachable. That Brown was able to give Coakley a run for her money in a Kennedy stronghold like deep-Blue MA, is proof of that.

And if Brown should win, expect more center-rightists to announce candidates in Northeast districts.

If Brown cant win this seat, given the awfully sub-standard politician he is running against, and the lingering recession, Republicans may be in bigger trouble than thought.

Brown is a smart, adult, just right of center candidate running a professional campaign and should be able to pick up enough "Reagan Democrats" for the win.

After his win (should Repubs be so lucky), maybe this will wake the Republican purists up to show we need the big tent with local flavored Republicans, not the limited party of Appalachian white southern baptists some are trying to make it.
