		<description>From 1936-2000, the final Washington Redskins game prior to the presidential election exactly predicted the election outcome.  If the Redskins lost, the incumbent party also lost the White House.

Having accurately predicted 15 consecutive elections, surely there was something to this!

{2004 broke the pattern.  The Redskins lost and Bush was re-elected.  A trend is a trend, until it isn&#039;t.}</description>

More likely, the &quot;stunt&quot; will only cost him popularity among people who are already inclined to dislike Obama, and will convince people who have been wondering &quot;what will Obama do to fight for us&quot; that the administration is actually making good on some of what they campaigned for - a change in how government does business.</description>
