To laugh or to cry?

Politico surveys the tea party protesters to ask which Republican leaders they like or dislike. Palin ranks among the least disliked, but some have reservations:

‘Sarah Palin is a popular person right now, but she needs to be under the wing of an educated — book-smart, not so much university-professor smart — person to learn how this is so much deeper than knowing details related to foreign and domestic policy issues,’ said Scott Mittlestadt, who started a small tea party group in Valdez, Alaska, called Patriots of Valdez. ‘I think her education would excel under the guidance of Glenn Beck.’

While trying ever so hard to discount the truth, agent’P or B’fault or whatever name you’re going by in this thread… today, anyway… you indeed were part of the same team that smeared Liz Cheney and, before that, her Father and, before that her sister, Mary, and before that Laura Bush and George Bush Sr.

It’s like you guys have a rifle sight aimed at the GOP dynasties of the Bush family and Cheney family… wait, silly me, your side or team isn’t big on hunting or guns so I’m guessing there’s little to worry about.

B’fault tried the same game you’re playing here, agent’P… just a few threads ago. When evidence is provided, you guys discount it and trivialize or try to marginalize and then exit fast Stage Left.

I told you how a widely reported, well documented story like Eric Holder hiring al Qaeda lawyers to man-up his DOJ Civil Rights office is easily accessible to even you on Google –unless you’re now going to contend you’re in some remote location inside Communist China (which would make sense given some of your other arguments).

I told you how a widely reported, well documented story like Eric Holder hiring former ACORN lawyers to senior DOJ posts is readily available to you, as well.

My job isn’t to provide you with briefing papers –any more than it’s your job to tell the truth or be intellectually honest.

The claims about Eric Holder turning over DOJ to farLeft attorneys who are terrorist sympathizers and worked to free terrorists from the evil clutchs of Dick Cheney are well documented and available even to trolls.

As for your claim (stealing the ABC-Daily Kos talking point) that even “conservatives” are condemning Cheney’s honest questioning of Holder’s hiring practices, it’s been pointed out in dozens of conservative blogs that the referenced “conservatives” are unknown to many leaders of the conservative movement… to members of the Federalist Society –the premier conservative legal association… and hardly constitute meaningful, unbiased “conservative” voices –who applaud Liz Cheney’s work in holding Eric Holder accountable. In the case of the referenced attorneys YOU think are conservatives, 2 of the 3 need to maintain good relations with whomever is running DOJ since 90% of their practice is devoted to cases with senior DOJ involvement. Not exactly unbiased or disinterested, is it now?

Maybe you missed yesterday’s Congressional briefing whereby Holder was finally forced, under the threat of a Congressional supoena, to begin to answer the questions that many, including Liz Cheney, have raised about his leadership of DOJ.

Eric was sweating so hard that the very Atty Gen, who last thought a trial for KSM in NYC was a great idea and has since retreated, had to contend –with a serious look, even– that he was confident bin Laden would be killed before he could be Mirandized by some local FBI flack working in the Islamabad office… well, non-office, that is.

Liz Cheney is right to ask the Obami –who claim to have the most transparent administration in American history –nay, in World History– nay, in Galactic History –who’s working at DOJ and what are their professional associations and background.

ACORN lawyers manning-up senior posts in a DOJ that just cancelled the FBI investigation into that corrupt organization –which likely violated RICO and a host of other federa laws– raises a red flag to unbiased, impartial observers. Funny that, eh? And to think that this is the ACORN that Obama said “I’ve been standing beside you at every major step over the last few years, in times of trouble and encouraged you to continue on the good work you were doing”?

al Qaeda lawyers and ACORN lawyers in the most transparent administration in Galactic History? No conflict of interest there, eh?

I guess all those SEIU lobbyist visits to the Oval Office this year were successful if they got the Prez to tell DOJ to back off on ACORN, their partner in crime.

Dear Independent, You know your stuff, but one point troubled me. Keep America Safe’s inquiry into appointments to the Department of Justice is essential to America. The twisting of this important inquiry by dressing it in visuals and verbiage that question the patriotism of those in question is not, whether from the left or the right. This abuse distorts the actual issue, and if reading these comments is any measure, diverts and divides the necessary discussion. Does such distortion contribute to our safety? Is this the intent of Keep America Safe?
