		<description>Well, actually, the SMLE has a 60 degree turn-bolt action.  Just saying,  to be completely accurate.  That and the forward cocking of the striker, and the position of the lugs, make it dramatically faster than the 90 degree-pull Mauser action.  

Everything is a compromise.
