And the share of our gdp taken up by finance will decline from 40%. And liberal arts grads 2 years out of the ivies wont make $200k for moving around numbers on a spreadsheet. The crisis seems absolutely catastrophic. Oh and btw please give me the name of a single company that moved to london or hong kong to avoid sarbanes oxley. As a matter of fact I have a better idea eliminate any requirements for any company to issue audited financial statements. With the loosest reporting standards of any major economy we would see a flood of companies from all over the world relocating to the US. A miracle: economic crisis solved.
