Rather melodramatic, aren&#039;t you?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;2) I can&#039;t believe you took so much time out of your day to write an article about how much you don&#039;t want to attend a party.  Feign illness like the rest of us do if you don&#039;t want to go to something.  It&#039;s not rocket science.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;3)  Apparently, this event must be relatively popular after all since it has blossomed in your country and even spread to others.  If it wasn&#039;t popular with the masses, it would have died a lonely death.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;4)  Newsflash, Jean Granville:  we do have something similar in the U.S.  It is called National Night Out, and it is held in August.</description>
