Today, FrumForum attended the Tea Party rally on Capitol Hill. The rally was part of a last minute push to put pressure on members of the House of Representatives before they vote on the health care bill. Here is a selection of images from the rally:

How good it is to see an outstanding group of Citizenry coming together to practice their Rights of Free Speech and Assembly. So civil, such a refreshing change from the usual crowd of Code Pinkers, Anarchists, Greens, Socialists, Communists and the rest of the maggot-infested scum the left fronts up with at THEIR demonstrations.

Alexander Hamilton? Hell YEAH ! ! ! A laissez-faire capitalist like myself. Wasn’t he a rumrunner? I love the guy. Please tell me he was a gunrunner – I’ll love him even more ! ! !

I make common cause with the Tea Partiers.

And yet, Linnane, the media always, at these Left demonstrations, bypasses the horde of freaks and zooms in on some unrepresentative sweet seeming grandmother, or “normal” seeming family type, who invariably claims that she’s just an ordinary Ohioan or whatnot and this is the first time she’s ever demonstrated, but issue X was so important that she felt compelled to speak out.

By contrast, a right wing demonstration filled with all American families and salt of the Earth types gets ignored while the some fat redneck yahoo gets all the airtime, especially if he can get incited to say something “bigoted”.

What’s remarkable is these “all-American families” seem to be all white and middle aged or older.
About 40 or so persons appear in those photographs, and I don’t see a single non-caucasian face anywhere.

This does not diminish the value of the demonstration, mind you, but it does make you wonder whether the right wing/libertarian “Tea Party coalition” as it currently stands has enough voters to prevail in a general election… 2010 should not be a problem, the GOP will need a more diverse coalition if it wants to win in 2012 as well.

I am a warrior, of Irish descent, and I follow the Viking way. I like Nietzche, I wear a Thorstone, I like metal music: Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult, Ramstein, and the Viking-inspired ballads of Warren Zevon and Led Zeppelin; The Immigrant Song, Battle of Evermore, and Kashmir. I am unapologetic about the global conquest and oppression brought on by the European people – I’m glad it was the Euros doing the conquering & oppressing and not the other way around – I pump iron and I’ve always got my radar on, always looking around to kick some ass – it’s been this way for me for the better part of four decades.

But I prefer the Blues, actually, for good kick-back and listen music. I’m in a bi-racial marriage and my daily diet is mostly fish & rice eaten with bamboo sticks and wash it down with sake. I have no time for racists – white supremecists, black panthers or otherwise; they scare me. I’ve seen three race wars; Israel, Ireland, and the former Yugoslavia, and I hope to God we don’t ever have one here in America.

Whats this make me? Who knows? All I know is I get called a racist a lot of the time, by the liberals on this blogsite. Funny thing is I’m a supporter of the State of Israel, while they side with the REAL racists in this cause.
