The Hill reports:
House Budget Committee chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) had hoped Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels (R) would enter the 2012 presidential race.
“I want to see how this field develops. I think other people are going to be getting in the race. I was hoping Mitch Daniels would be getting in the race; he obviously didn’t do that,” Ryan said in response to a question about whether he had any interest in running for president during an interview with Neil Cavuto on Fox Business Network on Thursday.
