		<description>Pandering.  I think Governor Pawlenty would be leading the pack (or, pac) right now if he continued on the trajectory he established in 2006-2008. Comparing his public statements from that time period to those of recent months, it&#039;s difficult to believe they are emanating from the same man.

The endorsement of the Conservative Party candidate in NY-22 was either pandering at its worst, or the beads of sweat in appeasement of The Tea Party.  Platitudes are fine for speeches at rallies. He needs to settle on what his principles are, and then explain to us how he can use them to fix our country. I&#039;m looking for someone with the courage to stand up to his friends.</description>
