		<description>Yes, we should sanction Iran, even decline to trade with other nations that do business with it.  That would cause all sorts of screaming about the US attempting to make its laws extraterritorial, imposing its agenda on others, etc.  We can just calmly repeat to all nations that you have to choose trading partners - us or Iran, but you cannot have both.  We are not forcing anything on anyone, simply exercising our right to choose whom to trade with, and we will not trade with anyone who does business with Iran.

Even more useful however is to wean America and the world from oil dependence.  The best plan for that is outlined in former NASA rocket scientist and nuclear engineer Dr. Robert Zubrin in his book &quot;Energy Victory:  Winning the War on Terror by Breaking Free of Oil&quot;.
