What happens if, tomorrow, a natural disaster of similar magnitude to Haiti’s hit Palestine? Let ‘em rot?

Are you sure about that? You seem to think that there isn’t as much animosity in Israel as there is in Palestine. “If they’d just quit with the rockets, we’d give em all the free lollipops they can eat!” The political situation is all but intractable there, and to paint it in such simple terms doesn’t help anything.
