The subject is confusing and complicated to most Americans (deliberate distortion and scaremongering by political partisans does not help either), so it would be helpful if President and Senate minority leader could explain to voters exactly what kind of reform their respective parties are proposing. Personally, I think a series of health care debates with Mitch McConnell would have been more valuable. The subject is confusing and complicated to most Americans (deliberate distortion and scaremongering by political partisans does not help either), so it would be helpful if President and Senate minority leader could explain to voters exactly what kind of reform their respective parties are proposing.
