" Nonsense. El Al screeners interview all passengers at non-Israeli airports while the passengers are already waiting in line to check in. That's how it was last time I flew El Al, anyway, from LAX. The screening adds *no* time to the passenger's wait. Similarly with the pre-flight questioning of departing passengers at Ben Gurion airport. That's for the regular screening, of course. Follow-up screening as in Ms. Murphy's case is another story, but that's already an extra wait today. Nonsense. El Al screeners interview all passengers at non-Israeli airports while the passengers are already waiting in line to check in. That’s how it was last time I flew El Al, anyway, from LAX. The screening adds *no* time to the passenger’s wait. Similarly with the pre-flight questioning of departing passengers at Ben Gurion airport.

That’s for the regular screening, of course. Follow-up screening as in Ms. Murphy’s case is another story, but that’s already an extra wait today.
