To my amazement and to the dismay of the rest of the elevator passengers, he took the elevator to the third floor. In an obvious breach of elevator etiquette (who takes an elevator up just two floors?) Dean also displayed his true colors when it comes to the environment.
Rather than walking and conserving valuable energy, Dean helped contribute to the global warming crisis by taking the infamously energy inefficient elevator. What would Al Gore say? Dean might preach conservation but his actions are empty!
When Mr. Gore’s ominous words come to fruition, and my home town in California resembles the 1995 classic Waterworld, I will blame you Howard Dean. And when my children ask me, “Papa, how did this happen?” I will reply the only way I know how, with a shrill yet guttural BEEYYAHHH!

Ummm … let’s see you try to even find the staircase in most buildings these days.
I’m actually an obsessive stair climber, as much to keep the weight off these days as to go green … and 9 times out of 10 the elevator is right there when you walk through the door, and the stairwell is hidden around a corner that’s hard to find unless you’re already well familiar with the building.
But I guess it beats one more Howard Dean “scream” joke…

Lame. Is Frum Forum becoming Snark Cerntral? There’ve been a few of these non-content p Would the posts lately. Would the elevator not gone up if Dean hadn’t climbed aboard? Would it only have gone to the second floor were it not for him? Ay-yi-yi.

Tim, don’t let the farLeft trolls drag you down. I saw the humor and I’ve had to spend time in Dr Dean’s presence in a professional capacity –it was torture.
You should appreciate the trolls for at least caring enough about the adverse impact this article might have on the failing stock of farLeft Democrats that they couldn’t resist commenting.
Their lame slams say far more about their plight.
