		<description>This is spot on.  Goldwater gave the Right a rallying cry.  &quot;Slightly less spending than them.&quot; is not such a cry.  The question is can we have rally points that do not scare off the rest of America?  If the future of the Republican Party is to be like the &quot;wets&quot; of the Tory Party we are doomed anyway and no conservative should devote time and energy to the Republican Party.</description>
