I’d think that he would answer it does not, Mr About Face. Trolls here, on this conservative and GOP site which Frum says is dedicated to rebuilding the Party, are guys like you and all the various reincarnations of your presence here under a variety of names and characters.

I think the troll label sits firmly and squarely on you and TeaBagged and automaticBSer and BlankHead and OldSkwerl and a few others. Troll because you’re here to irritate on a site for which your opinions do not belong.

Independent is closer to the conversation and discussion –let alone the goals of the site– than you can ever hope to be… you’re stuck under that bridge munching on rotting ferrets and hoping no one recognizes you for the democrat activist troll you are.

A self made woman who has made it on her own, something Hilary hasn’t done. A woman who has allowed complete acces to her college transcripts, something Obama hasn’t. A person who has executive experience, which Obama had no of, and required no political machine to be successfull.
She now has a book, which by all standards is a best seller, and Otto whines, “She didn’t write it”.
Please name the Democrat politician who has penned their own book.
The book sells because of the story, the narrative, the main character. By that measure Sarah outshines any book released by a Democrat.

Tough to swallow but Otto please don’t choke on it.

……I always remind myself that in 1936 Alf Landon got 36% of the vote in the greatest electoral landslide in US history…..he carried only two states……So if the Republicans put up Micky D he’s going to get about 36%-40% of the vote which is made up of the base (roughly 25% of the electorate) and another 10-15% of fellow travellers…….that’s just electoral math in America

Sadly, as Steve Schmidt warned, it would be a GOP bloodbath.

I’d estimate that around 50-60% of today’s Republicans would say that Sarah is a reasonable candidate for President, even if not their first choice.

And I’d estimate that about 20-30% of Republicans would quickly commit to support Sarah if she throws her hat into the ring.

Now remember – one of the reasons why McCain ran away with the nomination so quickly isn’t because 50% of Republicans were supporting him in primaries – but because Republicans gamed the process to minimize dissent and had a lot of early states that were winner-take-all. Sarah walking into early primaries, where there might be 4 or 5 other legit candidates (legit in terms of having a real chance of drawing a significant vote), might grab some early momentum.

And anyone opposing her knows that up to half her support could be of the “if Sarah doesn’t end up on the ticket, we’re staying home in November” variety – so they won’t be able to point out some of her knowledge/logic gaps or verbal inconsistencies for fear of alienating this constituency.

In short, barring some new revelation of Sarah’s past or current conduct that submarines her appeal – I could very easily see watching her debating Obama as the Republican nominee in 2012.

…….when lived in England they used to some guy who did a vaudeville act on tv where he spoke total gibberish with a completely straight face and he’d do spoof interviews on talk shows and the like……this is exactly the same except that a majority of one of our major parties thinks this is coherent and wisdom laden commentary

How about Hannity and the other right wing talk shows hosts saying that no one has been more savagely treated than Palin? I guess they forgot the various conspiracies about Hillary being responsible for Vince Foster’s murder.
