		<description>Deeds is dead meat.  However, people tend to make too much of the importance of off-year elections.  I personally think they are meaningless.  For example, it appears likely that Gov Corzine will win in NJ.  What does that mean?  Nothing.  The Republican candidate is lousy.  Similarly, the Republican will likely win in Virginia.  That just means the Democrat, Mr. Deeds, is a lousy candidate.  Nothing more.  Finally, the NY election.  How in Earth is that a precedent for anything, other than the Republican candidate is lousy?</description>
