		<description>We really should be pointing out to voters the similarities of Obama&#039;s plan to economies like California and Michigan. But I only read stuff like this on blogs....why won&#039;t the GOP educate voters on this?</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t approve of the rich being penalized for being rich- with higher tax rates.  If they generate lots of sales tax, great.  However, I like the thought of my income taxes going away.  I won&#039;t be holding my breath for that.</description>

		<description>I was very proud of the GOP today, voting against the alleged stimulus.  It was a principled stand that social conservatives and fiscal conservatives can support.  It has the added benefit of clarity.  I&#039;d like to see a lot more of this kind of thing in future.  As to California, is there any hope?  I know it&#039;s too big to fail, but can&#039;t see anyone setting it straight.</description>
