If they generate lots of sales tax, great. However, I like the thought of my income taxes going away. I won't be holding my breath for that. It was a principled stand that social conservatives and fiscal conservatives can support. It has the added benefit of clarity. I'd like to see a lot more of this kind of thing in future.
