The Huffington Post reports:

Rep. Michele Bachmann will officially launch her campaign for president next Monday in Iowa, the Huffington Post has learned.

Bachmann is set to announce the details of the event on Wednesday morning, Alice Stewart, a spokeswoman for the Minnesota Republican, told HuffPost. News about the Monday event did not come from Stewart or from Bachmann headquarters, but from sources with knowledge of the event.

Coming off her strong performance in last week’s Republican primary debate in New Hampshire, Bachmann and her staff have kept a low profile, allowing the candidate to ride the wave of positive buzz into this week.

Washington Times is pushing a Zogby poll that says Bachmann is way out ahead of Romney (24% ro 15%) …
But the poll is not getting any MSM play…
Why not? Could it be because the MSM hates Bachmann?

No, actually it’s because it is likely Zogby’s new “Interactive” internet methodology- which the industry views as seriously flawed and non-comparable to phone poll methodology that everyone else advertises. The information regarding the poll does not exist at zogby.com. The WT blog entry does not seem to care to report the methodology.

Drudge was willing to link to it.

over 200 comments and tweets… At least one commenter had some sanity…

Sam: “You guys… Zogby is a joke. Zogby had Herman Cain at 20% last week”
