Here we go again. Obama proposes to raise revenue without increasing tax rates at all, yet Republicans accuse him of trying to raise taxes. The GOP’s logic? Under Obama’s proposals, more tax revenue would be collected. Therefore, it counts as a tax increase. more

Obama’s tax deal with harm him politically and might not spark an economic recovery. The president sold out to the GOP and didn’t get anything in return. more

FF Symposium: In the best of all possible tax worlds, there would be no death tax. But if there is one actual tax that mirrors what an ideal tax would do, it would be the estate tax. more
