Richard Englel reported this morning that the bomber was a doctor from Jordan that was radical and the Jordanian and American intelligence services thought they had “turned” him into a counter-spy. The doctor called asking for a meeting saying he had actionable intelligence about Ayman al-Zawahiri, second in the command line after bin Laden.

The meeting was set up and all American CIA and Jordanian intelligence leads were called in for the meeting. The Doctor was invited in with a minimum security check, he was after all an American counter-spy, he walked into the meeting room and killed the CIA’s leading authorities on bin Laden and the Al Qaeda leaders.

My condolences go out to the families of those un-name agents lost in this attack. This was a devastating attack which whipped out a great deal of American intelligence about bin Laden and Al Qaeda.
